DETAILS: Mountain Valley Arts Council is bringing The Old Mixed Tapes to Civitan Park in Guntersville for the 4th of July concert before the fireworks. Food trucks will start the fun midday, music starts at 6:00 PM, and fireworks start at 9 PM. The concert and fireworks are free, but donations to MVAC will be appreciated. This concert is possible through donations from concert attendees, MVAC members, City of Guntersville, and a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts. Bring your chairs, sunblock, bug spray, fans, and friends for a great 4th of July event.
The Old Mixed Tapes are a high-energy, five-piece traditional bluegrass and bluegrass gospel band based in Alabama. Rooted in the classic sound of early bluegrass, the group delivers driving instrumentals, heartfelt gospel songs, and tight three-part harmony that keeps audiences engaged from the first note to the last.
