DETAILS: Take a guided kayaking adventure with the Park Naturalist! As we paddle along the shoreline of Lake Guntersville at sunset, we will be on the lookout for native wildlife species and discuss the history of the area!
We will spend roughly 2 hours on the water and cover about 1.5 miles of shoreline. Make sure to bring sunscreen and water!
We have single kayaks ($50), tandem kayaks ($60), and children’s kayaks ($30, with a weight limit of 120 lbs) to rent, but you are welcome to bring your personal kayak or canoe and only pay the program fee of $10 per person. You must have life jackets on board for all persons in the vessel.
You must preregister for this program by the day before the event!
This program will be held at the new kayak launch, located in the campground near the Lakeside Pavilion.
