DETAILS: Have you ever wanted to venture out on the lake at sunset but never wanted to go alone? Now is your chance to take a guided kayaking adventure with the Park Naturalist! As you paddle along the shoreline of Town Creek at sunset, you will learn about the history of the Town Creek area and the animals that inhabit the less explored portion. Reserve your spot today!
We will spend roughly two hours on the water and cover about 1.5 miles of shoreline. Make sure to bring sunscreen & water!
We have single kayaks, tandem kayaks, canoes, and children’s kayaks (with a weight limit of 130 lbs) to rent, but you are welcome to bring your personal kayak or canoe and only pay the program fee of $5 per person. You must have life jackets on board for all persons in the vessel.
You must preregister for this program by the day before the event! Rental fees for this program include the program fee of $5 per person.
This program will be held at the new kayak launch, located in the campground near the Lakeside Pavilion.
