DETAILS: Start your morning right by taking a guided kayaking adventure with the Park Naturalist! Prior to leaving the banks of the lake, you will learn all about paddling safely while out on the water and what to expect while you are out there! As you paddle along the shoreline of Short Creek, you will learn about the history of the area and the animals that inhabit the less explored portion.
We will spend roughly 2 hours on the water and cover about 1.5 miles of shoreline. Make sure to bring sunscreen & water.
We have single kayaks to rent ($50), but you are welcome to bring your personal kayak or canoe and only pay the program fee of $10 per person. You must have life jackets on board for all persons in the vessel.
You must preregister for this program by the day before the event!
