DETAILS: Nature, whether a topographical scene, a forest, plant, animal, insect, bird, or an interaction between any of these living things, vignettes of wonder stop us in our tracks and appeal to our senses. At Quilt the Forest, work with naturalist and quilter Michelle Reynolds (daughter of Linda Reynolds, Lake Guntersville State Park’s first Naturalist) to create small blocks of hand-sewn nature scenes. Attend multiple workshops to complete your quilt!
This three-hour program, held in the Gathering Place, invites participants to develop their own methods, tap into their creativity, forget the rules, and just go for it! All supplies are included.
