DETAILS: Have you ever wanted to take a glimpse into what the land around Lake Guntersville may have looked like 100 years ago? Join the Naturalist for a guided hike to visit the homestead sites of some of the first settlers to this area!
We will be meeting at the closed road entrance by the water treatment area. Coordinates are 34.38616N, 86.21433W. This will be a ~3 mile hike over moderate to difficult terrain. Attendees are encouraged to bring water, bug spray, sturdy footwear, and a snack if you’d like.
