History on Horseback
Join the Park Naturalist on a horseback at the Town Creek Horse Trails trailhead to learn about the history of the Town Creek area and Lake Guntersville State Park! This will be a 3 mile trail ride over rough, steep terrain. We will be leaving out on the trail at 10:00 am. Please arrive with enough time to present your coggins, sign our liability waiver, unload and tack up.
Horses will NOT be provided. All attendees 18 years old and younger are encouraged to wear a helmet.
Limited number of horses can be rented from Alabama Horseback Adventures for this program, call 256.558.7923 to reserve your horse today.
Physical copy of a negative coggins test for each horse on-site will be required to be presented BEFORE unloading.
