History by Lantern Light: Kings Chapel Cemetery – Lake Guntersville State Park

LOCATION: Trailhead Parking Lot – 11872 AL-227, Guntersville, AL 35976

DETAILS: Grab a lantern and join the Park Naturalist on a guided hike to Kings Chapel Cemetery to learn about the land and the families who lived here before the state park was formed!

We will have some lanterns available for use; however, attendees are encouraged to bring their own lanterns, flashlights, or headlamps!

This is a 1.5-mile out-and-back trail over moderate to steep terrain. Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash.

We will be meeting at the parking lot at trailhead for the Kings Chapel, Terrell, and Dry Falls trails. Coordinates are 34.38480N, 86.20628W.
