Don’t let the title of this workshop fool you. Comic art, or sequential art, is not just super heroes in tights fighting off creatures from another planet. We are all story tellers.
We love to watch TV shows, movies and read novels. Independent comic artists have been storytelling, creating their own characters for many years.
You will learn how to tell a story with pictures.
First to learn the terminology of comics.
Decide on the story you want to tell and then develop the scenes
Develop characters or a character that you can draw easily over and over
Important point here: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DRAW.
