Lynnette Zanghi Brown Exhibit at MVAC

January 9 - February 29

MVAC Exhibit for January-February Opens

Mountain Valley Arts Council features art by Lynnette Zanghi Brown from January 9th – February 29th this year. Please come meet her during the Artist Reception on January 9th from 5 – 7 PM and bring friends back to enjoy the exhibit throughout January and February at the MVAC Gallery at 440 Gunter Avenue in Guntersville.

Lynnette is a self-taught artist who has worked in various art mediums since childhood, often coming up with concepts from her dreams. Previously from Fairhope, she and her husband Rusty moved to Scottsboro for retirement in 2022. Their retirement goals are to live peacefully, travel, and participate in art shows. Art is Lynnette’s therapy as she zones out while painting.

Lynnette creates commissioned work such as children and pet portraits. You can see her commissioned work on Facebook by searching “Dagmar Studio” which is her in-home studio named after her husband’s beloved 1955 Cadillac. Of course, these art pieces have already gone to their forever homes and are not available for the MVAC exhibit or for purchase. Lynnette’s highly creative artwork ranges from children’s book illustrations, multimedia jewelry, miniatures to large paintings. Her art continues to evolve as she puts all the creations in her head to canvas.

After the two-month exhibit at MVAC, Lynnette’s artwork will be on exhibit at the River’s Edge Gallery in Scottsboro, but you can see it here first. She is also a new member on the MVAC board.

Generous MVAC members and business sponsors such as the City of Guntersville, Citizens Bank & Trust, Rodney’s Flowers, and Sand Mountain Toyota made this exhibit possible.
