38th Annual Mountain Lakes Triathlon

The 38th Annual Mountain Lakes Triathlon is set for Saturday, July 8. Test your stamina on this scenic, fast course. The swim takes place in Lake Guntersville, while the bike course is a 16.2 mile loop with a mix of residential and rural roads, with fun flat sections and a few small rollers. The run course is a 3-mile out-and-back on a paved running trail that winds along the lake.
LOCATION: Guntersville Rec Center, 1500 Sunset Dri
Also new in 2023- We are adding a youth Splash & Dash at the Mountain Lakes Triathlon! Taking place the evening before the Triathlon (July 7), the Splash & Dash will feature a 100 yd swim and 1k run for kids ages 7-10 and a 200 yd swim and 2k run for kids 11-15. Cost is only $15! Registration opens Monday.
Mountain Lakes Tri is also playing host to the 2023 USAT Alabama State Championship so its even more of a reason to add this race to your calendar and bring the family with you.
