SUMMARY:Snead Art Students & Instructor Lanette Blankenship Exhibit\, at Mountain Valley Arts Council
DESCRIPTION:Mountain Valley Arts Council will open its exhibit featuring art instructor Lanette Blankenship and Drawing II and Painting I art students from Snead State Community College on February 28th.  The exhibit will remain up through March 31st. \n The artists’ reception will be Tuesday March 14th from 5:30 – 7 PM at the MVAC Gallery at 440 Gunter Avenue in Guntersville. The exhibit will feature art from the students’ current studies of Byzantine art and and religious artwork during the Middle Age and their current interpretation of that era. The students will also show their other artwork created this semester in Drawing 2 and Painting 1. \nMVAC Gallery is open Tuesday – Friday 10am – 5pm and Saturday 10am – 2pm. Located at 440 Gunter Avenue.

The Arab Chamber of Commerce and Caring Heart Teen Pantry are having an early morning breakfast\, coffee\, ribbon cutting and networking event at the Caring Heart Teen Pantry outreach on March 29 at 8:00 am! (165 N Main Street\, Arab\, AL 35016)\n\n\n\nAMRV RC&D awarded Caring Heart Teen Pantry a grant to purchase a 2 door cooler and 2 door freezer to help make sure the teens have more wholesome and nutritional foods. They receive their funding from our elected officials such as Wes Kitchens\, Clay Scofield\, and Brock Colvin. Congressman Robert Aderholt and Mr. Will Ainsworth may have some say in how much funding is sent to RC&D across the state to help our area nonprofits serve better.\n\n\n\nBring your business cards to enter to win some amazing door prizes\, including:  2- $50 Love What’s Local Gift Cards\, 2 Drawings for a New rod/reel\, new polarized sunglasses and water lounger\, 1 Set with new Tumbler and wireless earbuds\, and 1 Set with New Tumbler and Bluetooth speaker.
