Last Day to Nominate a Healthcare Hero

December 7, 2022

The Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers is seeking nominations for the annual Marshall Medical Healthcare Hero Awards.  The purpose of these awards is to honor those who epitomize the word “hero” in the delivery of healthcare in our community.

“It has been almost 3 years since we have sought nominations for this award from the community,” says Andrea Oliver, Director of the Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers. “The pandemic allowed us to recognize groups of heroes who worked the frontlines and were called to support the frontlines, but this year we will get back to recognizing individuals for their exemplary contributions.”

Ideal nominees may be providers of healthcare (nurses, technicians, etc.), healthcare volunteers, or any contributor who is making a significant impact on the quality of healthcare in the Marshall County area.  Through this award the Foundation seeks to salute excellence, raise awareness, enhance the quality of healthcare and, of course, recognize deserving individuals within the healthcare industry.

Nominations may be submitted via mail to 2320 Homer Clayton Drive, Guntersville, AL 35976 or via email to info@foundationformmc.org now through December 7, 2022.  The nomination form must include the nominator’s and nominee’s name, title, company and address as well as a brief descriptive narrative of 500 words or less.  Each nomination will be judged on its own merits.  The recipient of the award will be honored at the Ninth Annual Winter Ball benefiting the Marshall Cancer Care Center on January 14, 2023 hosted by the Marshall Women’s Guild.
